Fall 2024 Classes

We are happy to announce our Fall Classes at Shore River Gardens!

All classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Class minimum is 5 people, so bring your friends! We can accept up to 10 students per class, due to space restrictions.

The store will remain open for private shopping after each class.

All attendees must be registered and paid in advance. Call 732-962-3162 to register.

*Please note, we cannot accept cancellations/issue refunds with less than 7 days notice before the class date, unless the class is canceled by Shore River Gardens. Please be sure to check your schedule before signing up! Thank you!😊

Floral & Craft: Make & Take

Create an easy and fun Succulent Pumpkin! These beautiful arrangements of living succulents will last for months. After the pumpkins fade, you can remove the succulents, and re-plant them! Makes a great gift or centerpiece.

Cost: $60 for standard size (sugar pumpkin). Larger pumpkins may be used for an additional charge.

Class limit: 10 students.

Make & Take Scented Candle

Pour your own scented candle! High-quality soy-based wax is long lasting, burns clean, and is phthalate-free. Choose from 8 delicious scents, including Fall and Holiday selections. Jars hold 13 ounces of wax. Comes with beautiful personalized label, and lid.

*Candles must be left for curing time. Pickup after 2 hours. Night classes pick up the next day.

Cost: $45.00, includes all materials and expert instruction.

Additional candles may be poured for $20 each.

That most popular of floral arrangements, the simple Mason Jar is a design that everyone can master. Casual and colorful, the Mason Jar is a versatile arrangement, perfect for centerpieces, gifts, or any occasion!

Class includes jar, fresh cut flowers, and instruction. All tools will be provided for use in class.

Glass cube and cylinder vases are probably the most popular choice for centerpieces these days. And thankfully, they're easy to make! In a 5"x5" vase, we will create a design that is low & clustered, for a lush look that puts the flowers at center stage.

Class includes vase, cut flowers and instruction. All tools will be provided for use in class.

Cost: $75. Class Limit: 10 students.

Thanksgiving Centerpiece

We are often tempted to arrange flowers in symmetrical patterns. But that isn't how they naturally grow! In this class, we will create our design in an informal wood box, with flowers arranged in a more natural style. Full of different colors and textures, this arrangement will make you think of a fall garden! Class includes cut flowers, container and instruction. All tools will be provided for use in class.

This traditional low and oblong piece features a variety of blooms, berries and foliage, in beautiful autumnal shades.

Bring the fragrance of the holidays into your home with a beautiful arrangement of fresh evergreens! Pine, cedar balsam and more greens will be combined with berries, pinecones and other decorative elements. Create a festive and fragrant arrangement that will last for weeks!

Class includes all materials, and instruction.

Cost: $75. Class Limit: 10 students.

Private Classes: By Appointment, For Groups of 5 or More

Looking for a unique activity to do with friends? Enjoy an evening of fun with your besties, while you all create gorgeous floral designs, or other creative projects! Each one-hour session includes all materials, and expert instruction. Events will be tailored to each individual group, based on your choice of project and experience level.
